I’m a freelance project manager with a strong focus on teamworking and knowledge sharing. I’m fascinated by the potential of web 2.0 tools to change the lives of individuals and teams, but I focus just as strongly on making traditional thinks work, like meetings, leadership, email, intranets and websites. I also give strategy advice.
I got a PhD in textual interpretation from Cambridge a long time ago and joined McKinsey in 1994, where I worked for clients across a wide range of industries. Since then, I have worked for a start-up in consumer services, a large private bank, a property management company and a City law firm. The rest of my life is devoted to my family of four, my house and garden, and my novel-writing aspirations.
In case you’re wondering, that’s my elder son on the banner of this website – he’s leaping from my bed in his pyjamas and the sense of freedom he has is exactly what I’m aiming for when I’m getting people to work together better: it should be liberating if you do it well.
